Goin' back to Cali, Cali, Cali..............

We are driving down to California this week. I am so excited. My husband is having a tooth issue and my brother is a dentist, so we are heading down for free dental work. Hooray!!!(not hooray for pain that Jake is going through)
I love coming home! This is the only reason it is good to live out of state, because I love to come back. Ha.
These are my favorite trees. I have a palm tree sticker on my car too. I love how tall they get and how a sunset looks through them.

Loveable Laughter

This is so cute! She had been asleep on my shoulder for no more than 60 seconds when she just started laughing and laughing in her sleep. She started and then Jake grabbed our camera in hopes she would do it some more, and she totally did. I couldn't believe it! I have only been able to make her laugh two or three times so far. She is two and a half months old. I wonder what was so funny???
What a cutie pie!

It was pretty dark in the room. It is more visible on my camera than on this site.
Dang it!
It is definitely worth a listen though.

Crazy Utah Weather.

Two days ago it was 90 degrees and I was sweating from carrying my kids and my groceries into the house. Today it is supposed to be 56 degrees as the high temperature. Crazy!!! It snowed last night and this morning here. It has melted of course but it still snowed! I had to turn my heater on this morning. I am now realizing that we all need new winter clothes. My boys have pants that I have saved from last winter and thought that they could still use them. I guess they have grown up because they are all too short in the legs. Hahaha. Duhhhh Dana!
I wish I knew where I could find baby coverall's. I like those better than shirt and pants when they are still infant's. Any suggestions? I don't want my baby to freeze.
She seems too small for sweatshirts and jackets so........who knows?
Jonah's birthday is on Monday. He will be SEVEN! I'm old! I'm almost 32. That's weird.
We are getting Jonah a bike for his birthday because we gave his old one to Gavin for his birthday back in July.
Jonah is enjoying first grade. His teacher is a little fruity but oh well. We will be switching schools soon when we move.

I don't really know......

...you know, what to talk about? I sometimes sit here at the computer and think about what I should post about. I really don't know this time. Haha. I would like to talk about that. Do you ever talk to a neighbor or someone in your ward that you just never know what to talk about? I do. Every now and then there is a person who I have absolutely nothing in common with or for some reason, can't find anything to talk about with them. It ends up being a very random or short conversation and I end up making up a reason to walk away from it. I hate this! Why can't I just ramble on about nothing like I am right now?
What about when you go to pay at a store and the cashier doesn't look at you or say, "Hi, how's it going?" It bugs me so I usually look at their name tag and call them by name and make them talk to me. It is their job you know.
Also, isn't it funny that almost everything that happens in life can be related to a "Seinfeld" episode. I think about that sometimes.
I also want to say that I really like this "Blue Bunny" brand ice cream called "Chocolate Fudge Brownie". Yummy.
Ok. That was my very super terrific happy random post for today.
Goodbye now.
PS- I miss Dad.

Anyone for pogo?

Pretty in white!

Ok. We blessed our baby girl this last Sunday. It was so nice. My mother-in-law made the blessing dress. Isn't it cute? There are little white flowers around the bottom of it. I love it!
This is my husband with her. Why I didn't get a photo of the both of us with Breck.......? Who knows? I never remember these things.

Townhomey Home.

Ok. Here is where our townhome is at. A lot of wood. You can see some finished buildings in the background. Our's will be darker colored not the off-white color. The hard part of buying brand new is that we have to wait for the park to be put in. Also the trees, grass, plants, etc.... Bummer! I don't think I would let my boys play outside for a while because of construction that will still be happening around us for a while. Oh well. We will have to drive to the community park around the corner or something.

Fall Ahoy!!

It is September 1st today and it was cool outside when I took Jonah to the bus stop. I enjoy Fall time. I like it when the leaves start to change and I like it when I can wear jeans and sweaters. I will miss my Rainbows but they will come out every now and then when it's snowy. I sometimes wear them to the bus stop in the winter time.
Jonah started Soccer last night and Gavin will start next week. It is an indoor league. I love outdoor Soccer because I love it when it rains on a game. I love the smell of wet grass. It reminds me of back when I played Soccer at the Laguna Niguel field out on Crown Valley Pkwy. It would be night time and foggy and cold. I loved it! Ahhh....memories.
I have decided that I like Fall and Spring here in Utah. I enjoy the beginning of summer but not the 103 degree days. Yuck! When Fall comes, everyone is dying from the heat and ready for the cooler temperatures. When Spring comes, everyone is dying from the freezing temps and ready for nice warm days to play outside. I like those feelings when those seasons come. Can anyone relate with me?
If I lived in California it would be a different story though. I would want June/July weather all year so I could live at the beach and let my kids play all day in the sand and water. I hate a dirty car but if it is sand from the beach.........that's ok. Haha.
We are blessing Breck girl this Sunday. I can't believe she is two months already! She grows too fast. She is so smiley and fun. I wish all family and friends could be here for the blessing!
